Many regard Village Green Preservation Society as the first of the great The Kinks concept albums. This fantastic performance of Acute Schizophrenia Blues (at the same concert as our earlier post) at the BBC in 1973 shows the evolution of Ray's arrangements from that period into the Muswell Hillbillies era.
