Let’s make my West African birthday cake together. This was a whole proceeds and a half but I was so excited to embark on the journey to making my own cake. The base of the cake is like most of my oil cake cake recipes on my blog (which is basically just two 😂😂😂) but I was determined. The flavour of the cake was a spiced west African cake seasoned with cinnamon, calabash nutmeg, cloves, ginger and ataiko (orimma) - it seems like it might be in the same family as aligator pepper/korarima/ card
